Capcom has already announced that Resident Evil Showcase will feature updates on titles- Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, and Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil Gold Edition launches this October 28th, so it’s no surprise that a special reveal or update is on its way. As for the mentioned Resident Evil 4, it is the much-awaited remake of Resident Evil 4 from 2005. We haven’t seen much of this game, though it is supposed to launch in a few months on March 23, 2023. Therefore, the Resident Evil Showcase can provide some fresh, new insights into the game.
However, the teaser for the Showcase’s announcement does mention there’s more in the pipeline. Though we don’t know the specifics of it, we also aren’t sure how long the showcase will run. Capcom’s Showcases typically stretch to about 30 minutes or less. Regardless, the show is only two days away, so it’s not going to be a long wait for reveals either.
