Netflix has scheduled Gundam Seed Freedom anime film’s debut for September 1

Get ready, Gundam fans! Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM is coming to Netflix U.S. on September 1. The highest-grossing Gundam film in Japan continues the epic saga with intense mecha battles, complex characters, and stunning animation.

Netflix is all set to add the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM anime film to its U.S. lineup on September 1. The movie has already been available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in Japan since June 8. 

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed FREEDOM which was released in Japan on January 26, became a box office hit in no time. It debuted being at #1. It sold 634,182 tickets and earned 1,065,983,130 yen (approximately $7.20 million) in its first three days, marking the highest three-day opening for the Gundam franchise. It is now the highest-grossing Gundam film ever in Japan. 
The film was screened in the United States and Canada by Bandai Namco Filmworks and Fathom Events on May 7-8, with subtitles on May 7 and an English dub on May 8. 
This film is directed by Mitsuo Fukuda, who also co-wrote the script with his late wife Chiaki Morosawa and Liu Goto, the film features character designs by Hisashi Hirai.
