Listen up, Gamers! The Tekken 8 is finally available for download, so what are you waiting for?
The PlayStation 5 version of the Tekken 8 demo is currently available for download, allowing players to get a taste of the highly anticipated game.
PC and Xbox players will have to wait until December 21 to access the demo. Bandai Namco officially announced Tekken 8 in September 2022, unveiling a trailer that showcased both cinematics and dynamic gameplay, emphasizing the fast-paced nature of the fighting game.
After more than a year since its initial teaser, the Tekken 8 demo has finally arrived on the PlayStation Store. This free trial offers a substantial experience with access to five modes: Story, Arcade Quest, Super Ghost Battle, Gallery, and Versus. While certain modes have specific cutoff points due to their episodic nature, players can still enjoy hours of entertainment exploring the game's features. The Gallery, Super Ghost Battle, and Versus modes have limited functionality in this trial version.
The Tekken 8 demo provides players with the opportunity to control four iconic characters: Jin, Kazuya, Nina, and Paul. The demo also features a selection of battle stages, including Sanctum, Yakushima, and the evening variant of Urban Square. These diverse settings, ranging from a forest cave to a swampy island and a vibrant urban center inspired by Times Square, showcase the game's visual variety and design.
While Bandai Namco conducts closed beta tests to stress-test the game's servers, the Tekken 8 demo, not surprisingly, does not include support for online play. However, players can engage in local multiplayer through Versus Mode, supporting up to two players. It's important to note that the content in the demo is subject to change, indicating that the final version of the game may differ from the trial version.
With the global launch of Tekken 8 just weeks away, it's unlikely that Bandai Namco will make significant content changes to the demo before its release. Tekken 8 is set to launch on January 26 for PC and current-generation consoles. Players who have pre-ordered the game should note that progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game.
