FAU-G is getting a Team Deathmatch soon; Here is everything we know
This announcement comes about a month after the company released FAU-G on Google Play Store. Here is everything we know about the Team Deathmatch on FAU-G.
nCore Games has just revealed that it is working on bringing the “Team Deathmatch” mode to its smartphone game, FAU-G. This announcement comes about a month after the company released FAU-G on Google Play Store. The mode will add to the single level that is currently available on the game. We highlighted this lack of content in our review for the game right after its launch. Ever since a significant number of FAU-G players have expressed similar thoughts around the launch version of the game. Here is everything we know about the Team Deathmatch on FAU-G including the release timeline.
FAU-G Team Deathmatch mode is coming soon; details
Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared the announcement regarding the arrival of the Deathmatch mode on his Twitter account. Kumar stated that this new mode was “coming soon” and FAU-G players can team up with their friends and family to take on the competition. The mode allows 5v5 matches where a team of five players can take on a rival team. This new mode is not surprising as nCore Games had already announced two new modes for FAU-G in the past. The announcement tweet also comes with a video likely teasing the look of the mode.
The video teaser for the mode showcases five players in the battle-field shooting in different directions. It also confirms that the mode will come with guns unlike the release version of the game. Looking at the background, it looks straight out of any other Battle Royale title like Call of Duty Mobile, etc. However, we do have our reservations around the in-game mechanics. As noted in our review, the gun-less version of the game was full of wonky mechanics and some hilarious bugs. Adding guns to the mix will make things more complex as it requires precise controls.
Find your friends, form your squad, fight for freedom! FAU-G’s multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode is coming soon!

It is also worth noting that we are not sure about the launch date of the upcoming Deathmatch mode. The announcement tweet only states a vague “Coming Soon” phrase. It is likely that nCore Games may push the update out in the coming weeks, if not days. We have also seen several controversies around the game since its launch including review bombing by likely PUBG fans, and criticism on the quality. The game currently has more than 5 million downloads with an average rating of 3.2 stars.
