BGMI: Bonus Challenge Returns to BGMI After a Long Wait
In a surprising move, Krafton has brought back the Bonus Challenge to Battlegrounds Mobile India after a long break. This move comes as a breath of fresh air for the BGMI community, which has been eagerly waiting for the return of this popular feature.
The Bonus Challenge was a staple of PUBG Mobile, the Global version of BGMI, where players could participate in matches and win rewards. The challenge allowed players to earn free UC (Unknown Cash), which was a rare commodity in the game. The Bonus Challenge was a unique event that offered players a chance to win exclusive rewards, including UC, weapon skins, parachute skins, and more.
Earlier, when PUBG Mobile was not banned, players used to compete in bonus challenges to redeem the UC from the Bonus Challenge redemption center. Many players had the Bonus Challenge Vouchers left in their inventory and they all were eagerly waiting for this return. This depicts that Krafton is working on the improvements of this game.
If we look back to the initial stage when the Bonus challenge was launched in PUBG Mobile in 2019-2020, players use to face hackers in every match who use to cheat and make UC out of it. Let’s see if this big issue is resolved in this return or not.
In this initial phase of this return, we can see there are only classic matches available where you can only play on the Erangel map. Written below are the steps to locate the Bonus Challenge in BGMI:
- When on the home screen of the game, click on the up-arrow on the bottom right corner of the screen.
- After clicking, click on the option named “Matches”.
- After this, you’ll see two options on the screen, one is “BGMI ESPORTS” and other is “BONUS CHALLENGE”. The first option which is “BGMI ESPORTS” is for the official BGMI tournaments which is currently unavailable and you have to click on the second option which is “BONUS CHALLENGE”.
