Odd Planet and Sweden Embassy hosts Sweden-India Gaming Day
This monumental event served as a bridge between two thriving gaming communities, fostering partnerships, collaborations, and plenty of virtual high-fives.
The very first Sweden-India gaming day hit the scene, and this was brought to you by the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden, the brainy folks at Moonfrog Labs, and supported by Odd Planet. This shindig was all about bridging the gap and creating some serious magic between the gaming scenes of both countries. We're talking partnerships, collaborations, and many virtual high-fives.
A little something on Odd Planet, it is a new and formidable Esports agency in India that had partnered up with India Today Gaming as well! This event saw some familiar faces around the gaming community, like Gyan Gaming, Antaryami Gaming, Savage Girl Gaming, Husna YT, Meowkasa, Ayush is Live, and others. These young minds had the time of their lives engaging in different gaming activities and bonding over the competitiveness that naturally tags along with games.
A thing worth covering is the amazing delivery of the panelists’s ideas about Gaming as a future medium of entertainment; where they placed heavy emphasis on how gaming has a bright journey ahead, with AIs, AR/VR, cloud and mobile gaming coming into the picture. This was followed by an insightful video on the History of Ludo, and a Ludo Master Class, which turned into a great ice-breaking session for all the people.
There was a lot of other stuff on the menu too, including flipping the script on gaming as we know it. It was made clear in the speeches that it's not just about scoring points anymore—it's about building a very tight gaming community too. Tech keeps zooming forward, and with all these slick smartphones and everyone hopping onto the internet train, it's no wonder that gaming is the talk of the town. It's not just child's play either—Sweden and India are rocking the gaming world like pros!
Fun fact! Did you know Sweden's got a crazy gaming scene, with a new gaming company popping up like daisies every year? And India's not slacking either—our gaming squad is on fire, with a whopping 440 million players joining the fun. Get ready, because this is just the tip of the iceberg. As for us, we can look forward to more of such events being held in the future as well!
