Next Resident Evil in Development, Capcom Confirms!

Capcom confirms the release of a survival horror franchise game led by the director of Resident Evil 7.
The rumours were flying that Resident Evil 9 is on the verge of being revealed, but the suspense has ended and Capcom has confirmed that the next entry is the storied survival horror franchise that is now in development. Although Capcom has kept it under a wrap, by not directly mentioning the release of potential Resident Evil 9.
The development of the upcoming game will be led by the director of Resident Evil 7: biohazard Koshi Naqkanishi.
Naakanishi confirmed the sequel in the course of talking about the previous game’s mobile release. Nakanishi and the Resident Evil series have a long history, he not only directed Resident Evil 7 but also Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, Resident Evil 5 and the first Resident Evil Revelations game.
Koshi Naakanishi: "It was really difficult to figure out what to do after Resident Evil 7," Nakanishi said. "But I found it, and to be honest it feels substantial. I can't share any details just yet, but I hope you're excited for the day I can."
What would be interesting to witness is if all the new titles will be launched for iOS as well, because recently it has been seen that games from Resident Evil series like Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Village are added to Apple’s App Store
