Infinix Note 11 Series WEC 2021: Dada Gang, one of the top teams from Nepal staged a perfect comeback
As one of the top teams from Nepal, they showed a strong promise of exceeding the expectations of their fans, but they were set to a very rough start. Let's meet Dada Gang here, the team that secured the 7th spot in Infinix Note 11 Series WEC 2021.
Infinix Note 11 Series World Esports Cup (WEC) 2021 was a gathering of some of the best Free Fire rosters in the South Asian region. The competition at the end was very fierce and even though each region sent their best teams, Indian rosters prevailed supreme and destroyed their competition. Total Gaming from India won this competition and walked away with a total of Rs. 35,00,000. Teams from Nepal and Pakistan lacked a little bit while competing but some of them had a story to tell.
Dada Gang was the third contender from Nepal to win the regional finals and make their way to the WEC 2021 grand finals. As one of the top teams from Nepal, they showed a strong promise of exceeding the expectations of their fans, but they were set to a very rough start. They made a successful comeback over the tournament and climbed to the seventh spot and won a small part of the massive Rs. 75 lakhs prize pool.
Nepal sent a total of four teams from their region and Dada Gang was one of them. At the Nepal finals, a team named 2B Gamer dominated the tournament and won the first spot. This team was also amongst the top three at the start and hence, Dada Gang and the others were not in the spotlight. Dada Gang started off in the tenth spot and had to make a hard climb to the seventh spot after the five days of competition. The second and fourth days were the best for them as they accumulated enough points to rise again.
Although this tournament was not their best performance, they walked into a tournament and competed with the professional rosters from the region, and achieving this spot was commendable. Dada Gang gained a total of 220 points and 91 kills at the WEC 2021 Grand Finals and won a monetary prize of Rs. 1,50,000.
