Hitman 3: IO Interactive shares opening cinematic of the game days after the gameplay trailer

Danish game publisher and developer IO Interactive (IOI) has just shared the “Opening Cinematic” of its upcoming game, Hitman 3. This new video comes about a week after the coming shared the official gameplay trailer for the game. These new video trailers come after the company displayed some upcoming improvements in the game. These include the upcoming console upgrades with the ability to play the game in 4K resolution at 60fps. IOI also shared that the game would come with support for HDR with glimpses of a new level called Chongqing. Hitman 3 Opening Cinematic video out days after the gameplay trailer, details
IOI shared the 2 minutes and 13-second trailer on the official Hitman YouTube channel. The trailer highlights that the protagonist of the game, Agent 47 has teamed up with his friend Lucas Grey. Both the characters will track and take down the partners of Providence. We see both the characters arriving in the UAE and tracking down a facility in the middle of the desert. From here, the trailer displays both the characters jumping down from a plane to kick start the first mission in Dubai. IOI has already outlined this first mission in previous teasers and trailers. This also hints at how IOI plans to conclude the Hitman trilogy to close this chapter.
In addition to the possible conclusion, the company also hinted at the different editions of the game at the end of the video. IOI will offer two versions of the game including the standard Hitman 3 and Hitman 3- Deluxe Edition. Epic Games Store has already outlined the India pricing for both editions. The standard version will be priced at Rs 1,453 while the Deluxe Edition is priced at Rs 2,161 for PC. PlayStation users will get the Standard version for Rs 4,129 while Xbox Players will pay Rs 3,499. Deluxe version on PlayStation is priced at Rs 6,199 with Xbox version is at Rs 5,249.
Looking at the listing, Deluxe Edition will come with “Deluxe Escalation Contracts”, exclusive suits, items, a digital soundtrack, and more. The Deluxe Edition will also come with a digital “World of HITMAN” book along with director commentary. Both the versions are currently available for pre-order in Epic Games Store. Official gameplay trailer
The Cinematic comes just days after the company shared the official gameplay trailer as mentioned above. Like the cinematic, the gameplay trailer is 2 minutes and 59 seconds long. Here, the company shares some highlights of the gameplay including the various locations, challenges, and more. IOI has already shared its plans to bring ray-tracing later next year with launch-day support for directional reverb and variable rate shading. It also outlined the improvements that PS5 version of the game will feature including elaborate DualSense controller effects. The company has already shared 'Project 007', its next game after the Hitman series based on the James Bond franchise.
