ESPL 2021 Level 2 Day 4: TSM FTX Becomes The 4th Team to reach Level 3

The Fourth Day of the Level 2 Stage of the ESports Premier League 2021 concludes with a total of 8 maps being played between the 12 top teams from the Level 1 stage. TSM FTX, claimed the victory at the end of the day and easily advanced to the Level 3 stage joining the top 3 teams from previous days.
ESPL 2021 is India’s first and biggest Pan-India Free Fire tournament announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021.
Started on 16th July, ESPL 2021 is on its 39th Day and with each passing day, the competition is getting fiercer. Every team is on point and putting up a difficult fight to secure a place in the top 8 positions and take home the championship trophy as well as the first place Rs 12,00,000 price money.
ESPL 2021 Level 2 Format
A total of 88 teams from Level 1 qualifiers advanced to the Level 2 stage. Here they were joined by 8 invited teams for a total of 96 teams competing in the Level 2 stage. The teams were further divided into 8 groups with each group consisting of one invited team and 11 teams from Level 1 qualifiers.
Each team will play 8 maps and every map finish will award certain points. A points table will be created consisting of points from each map and after the game is over, the team with the most points (in case of a tie, the team with the highest kills) will advance onto the Level 3 stage. A total of 8 Bo8 games will be played throughout the Level 2 stage and only the top team from each group will advance to the Level 3 stage.
Level 2 Day 4 Result
TSM FTX topped the overall standings after the completion of 8 matches. The team took a total of 352 points, including the massive 158 kill points. Besides getting the maximum kill points, the team also got the highest position points (194). TSM FTX took a total of 4 Booyah’s and finished at the top three positions in 4 out of 8 matches. Pro Nation took the second spot in the overall standings with a total of 257 points followed by Dream Valley with 133 points.
