ESPL 2021 Level 2 Day 2: Total Gaming eSports Advance To Level 3 Stage
Each team will play 8 maps and every map finish will award certain points. Here are the details for the matches that happened on the ESPL 2021 Level 2 Day 2.
The second day of the Level 2 Stage of the ESports Premier League 2021 commenced today with two of India’s finest Free Fire teams, Teams Elite and Total Gaming eSports battling each other to secure a spot in the top 8 teams moving to the Level 3 stage starting from 16th August 2021.
ESPL 2021 is India’s first and biggest Pan-India Free Fire tournament announced by India Today Gaming, the gaming and esports division of India Today Group. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals scheduled to be held on 29th August 2021.
Level 2 Format
A total of 88 teams from Level 1 qualifiers advanced to the Level 2 stage. Here they were joined by 8 invited teams for a total of 96 teams competing in the Level 2 stage. The teams were further divided into 8 groups with each group consisting of one invited team and 11 teams from Level 1 qualifiers.
Each team will play 8 maps and every map finish will award certain points. A points table will be created consisting of points from each map and after the game is over, the team with the most points (in case of a tie, the team with the highest kills) will advance onto the Level 3 stage. A total of 8 Bo8 games will be played throughout the Level 2 stage and only the top team from each group will advance to the Level 3 stage.
ESPL 2021 Level 2 Day 2 results
Total Gaming eSports topped the overall standings comfortably with a total of 287 points. The team scored a massive 134 kill points and 153 rank points. Besides getting the most kill points, the team also got the highest rank points (153). TG eSports took a total of 2 Booyah’s and finished at the top three positions in 6 out of 8 matches. Team Elite took the second spot with a respectable total of 194 points followed by Team Bad Intention at 3rd place with 173 points.

ESPL 2021 Level 2 stage matches will be live-streamed on various platforms including Disney+Hotstar and Youtube. You can watch the live streams for the matches in six languages including Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Bengali.
