ESports Premier League 2021 Level 1 Group B matches concluded yesterday. Group C matches featuring the next set of teams will compete in the round 1 qualifiers starting from 6th July 2021. ESPL 2021 is a franchise-based league announced by India Today Gaming. It is a multi-city tournament that will run over a period of three months. It will comprise more than 700 online matches with more than 300 hours of gaming content. The tournament features a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 distributed among the top 8 teams in the grand finals.
ESPL 2021 Format
ESports Premier League 2021 is divided into 4 phases. Phase 1 will feature amateur and semi-professional teams across the country which will compete with each other to finish in the top 22 teams from each group. A total of 88 teams will qualify for phase 2 who will be joined with the 8 invited teams. These teams will compete in phases 2 and 3, to qualify for the next phase. A total of 8 teams will qualify for the grand finals representing eight cities as stated above.
Group C matches started
The matches of the Group C stage were completed yesterday from which the top 22 teams qualified for the next level. A total of 12 matches will be played on the first day of the Level 1 Group C stage. All the matches will be played on a Bermuda map from which the top teams will qualify for the next stage. Here is the schedule of all the matches to be played in the group C stage.
