As the game developer and publisher reaches the final stretch, some explosive information has just hit the internet. According to recent reports, a 20-minute gameplay video of the game has just leaked online. This comes just days after the first images of physical copies spotted in the wild hit the internet. In fact, several reports hinted at the potential of the leak while talking about the physical copies.
Hours after the leak, the company shared the official gameplay videos for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on its official channels. Users on the forum ResetEra noted that streamers shared about 20 minutes' worth of the gameplay from the PS4 version of the game. The video recording of the clip also included commentary from the person (or one of the people) responsible for the leak. It mostly included bragging about the early access and comments on the gameplay.
CD Projekt Red has already taken down several instances of the video from the internet. The leak came just hours after images of physical copies of the game surfaced in the wild. This instance confirmed that several unpatched copies of the final version of the game may be in the wild. It is likely that people with access to the leaked game may spoil the plot for you so be vigilant. As a response, the game publisher shared official gameplay video for the Sony PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 Pro. According to the report, Lukasz Babiel, the lead QA tester at CD Projekt Red has played about 175 hours and still not completed the game. This means that players will have enough content to last them weeks, if not months.
