In just three days of its release Black Myth: Wukong has started shattering records. The game has sold a whopping 10 million copies in just three days. This milestone is shared on X(formerly Twitter) by the official handle of the game developer.

Black Myth: Wukong is a Role Play Game based on the 16th-century Chinese tale "Journey to the West". In the game, player has to take the role of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King and take on an adventure-filled journey with challenges and exciting characters. Each character has a storyline behind it. The game contains fiery combats, spells, transformations and techniques.
The game was developed by the Game Science studio, formed in 2014 by former Tencent employee Feng Ji. The company has investments from Tencent and Hero Entertainment.
The game has created a buzz in the gaming community. A company in China has announced a day off to celebrate the launch of the Black Myth: Wukong. The Department of Culture and Tourism in Shanxi Province has released a video to promote the real-world sites that are shown in the game.
