Krafton has just shared a new poster regarding its much-awaited smartphone Battle Royale title, Battlegrounds Mobile India. This new poster comes just days after the company first shared the information around the return of PUBG Mobile. The new poster showcases glimpses of an in-game setting along with the usual elements like the PUBG helmet. We also get a new text on the poster stating “The Battlegrounds are waiting” to hype up the game launch. Besides, a new report surfaced outlining that Krafton has asked content creators to not use “PUBG Mobile” in their content. Battlegrounds Mobile India shares a new teaser poster
The new poster showcases a coastal setting with multiple wooden housing structures both on land and water. In addition, the poster also includes several Palm trees and geological variety in the scene with a rocky plateau. PUBG Mobile players may likely recognize this setting as the Sanhok map from the game. The game developer has also added the Battlegrounds Mobile India and Krafton branding towards the bottom of the poster. It also includes a copyright disclaimer revealing that Krafton holds all the trademarks for the upcoming game. This came just hours after the company shared yet another teaser poster with the Helmet as the primary subject.
Looking at our past reports, we have already covered the logo reveal video that Krafton shared on the Battlegrounds Mobile India social media handles. The reveal showcased the tricolor theme that Krafton is trying to follow to earn extra brownie points with the Government. However, trying to stay on the good side of the government is not limited to the posters and likely marketing. As per a recent report, Krafton is trying to dissociate itself from PUBG Mobile in the Indian market.
Krafton does not want creators to associate Battlegrounds Mobile India with PUBG Mobile
A report from IGN India noted that Krafton has sent out a message to content creators to note “use PUBG Mobile”. This new instruction is in line with how the South Korean company chose to reveal Battlegrounds Mobile India. According to the report, Krafton said, “We would also suggest to not use PUBGM in your content anymore as it was banned and we don’t want to be banned again.” The message went on to state, “We would recommend using worlds like Battlegrounds Mobile India, Korean game, Indian version in your content.” It is also worth noting that Gaming Aura, the source of this message has removed the Instagram story.
